Professional fly fishing guides?
Anyone who has previously visited this page (prior to October 2011) will remember that I had compiled a short list of guides that I recommend. Good people, friends, instructors, conservation minded, & good spirited. Professionals I would have hired to take my family fly fishing.
Now, I am dumping the list. It just isn’t possible to be fair, in print, and list a set of great fly fishing guides. My former list was pretty short, and resulted in some business for many of the men and women I listed. That said, gosh darn it, what about the many fine people who I did not list? How bout them?
Sometimes less is more. If you have any interest in finding a quality fly fishing guide who works from Oregon through Washington, BC, and Alaska, feel free to send me an email enquiry. I would be pleased to refer you to one or more of the finest fly fishing guides in the region, recognizing that there are also others of high caliber who I have not had the good fortune to meet yet.
